Speech
Today’s kids are all about fighting and demolishing things. They want adults to listen to them. They have great ideas but this world revolves around adults. I would know I’m a teenager. I’ve always wanted to change the world. When others wanted to be a singer, hair dresser, police officer or fire fighter. I wanted to travel the world and clean up litter. That isn’t as exciting now than what I thought when I was younger. A few months ago when I had ideas for raising money for kids to go to insane 2010, my mum said to me “your still trying to save the world, your good at that”, I said “I know and I wont stop until I’ve done something incredible”. I want to change the world. I want to stop bombings, murders, graffiti, fights, bullying and everything else that’s making this world a bad place to live. Random acts of kindness and starting with family and friends can go along way. We can do this. We can change the world. God has put everyone on this Earth to do something about poverty and other issues. This is like a big testing ground and it has been since the dawn of time. He has made everyone to stop wars and poverty and he wants to see us do it on our own. I will not be at the end of my death bed saying I wish I had changed the world when I was younger, maybe then I could have prevented all these deaths and all these bombings. The time is now; we need to do something now before it gets out of hand. The world is hitting an all time low and I want to see world peace before I die. I am 15 years old and I am ready to take on the world and change it and I will not stand for kids that say “I’ll do it when I’m older” or “but I’m too young I can’t change the world”. The time is now, change the world now and it will be a better place for everyone and for other generations to come.
